Yesterday Scout was sick so we had a little bit of a lazy day and spent freetime watching Dora instead of playing. Today, everyone is feeling better but I'm still getting requests to watch TV. Ash Lee was tired of coloring and resisted my encouragements to go find a toy to play with. She wandered around the living room until she found her coat.
Old Pink-Marshmallow features prominently in our days. Whether it's her wanting to use it as a prop for a game, wearing it constantly because "Daddy washed it and it's all clean" or making sure it's zipped ALL the way up (no matter how hot it is outside) the pink marshmallow coat is a regular fixture.

Today Pink-Marshmallow died. Ash Lee brought her lifeless body to me and we petted her until she came back to life. Ash Lee was so thrilled with the resurrection that she turned into a princess and danced with Prince Pink Marshmallow. It was so cute I could barely stand it so I took a picture.

The older girls were coloring the whole time and giggled at Ash Lee...until they saw the camera. Then those little hams decided it wasn't beneath their station to also dance with their own Prince Pink Coats. It may have been contrivved but it was still cute!
Now they're "camping" while they lay on the living room floor and look up at the stars. I wish I had stuff for s'mores! That would be the perfect snack. *note to self: buy marshmallows and chocolate bars, you never know when you'll have a s'more emergency!
